On the 20th anniversary of the EA Sports hit video game Madden NFL Football, legendary NFL Quaterback Brett Favre will be on the cover. For the first time in the video games fabled history a non-active NFL player will grace the cover of Madden. This put an end to the Madden Curse for this year atleast any way as well.
Brett Favre who retired at the end of the 2008 season, holds most the notable passing records in the NFL, and lead his team to an unprobably 13-3 season and a win in the playoffs against former coach Mike Holmgreen only to lose to the eventual super bowl champions the Giants in over time.
Brett Favre joins a list of many other notable athletes who have graced the cover such as Eddie George, Ray Lewis, and Vince Young.
