Biggest Glitch of the Year
It took less than a week, but the first big glitch of the Madden season is out. It is unlike anything every found in a Madden game, at least in my memory. Sure the WR double pass in Madden ‘08 was bad, but you could control if not shut that down; however, this year’s glitch of the year is unstoppable.
Already banned from the Madden Challenges (no official word needed). And unless patched this glitch will destroy the integrity of ranked online games (as if it’s not bad enough already). The play in question here is so simple to manipulate into a glitch that the smallest of Madden ballers are giddy to get their hands on, but there is some relief in that the plays are contained to one offensive playbook. Maybe it was John Gruden himself behind this Madden debacle since these plays may only be found in the Tampa Bay playbook.
The only hope now for hardcore online players is that there will be a patch to fix this, but it won’t be in time as the glitchers will run wild with this through the lobbies tonight (and every night there after until it’s patched). The unimaginable ridiculousness of this glitch may put a death to online quick games and playing unknown opponents in the lobbies.
I remain optimistic that EA might be able to correct this problem; although, they did nothing to take out the WR double pass from last year. So hopefully, Madden Gods willing, EA will find it within themselves to fix this problem before it destroys another hopeful year of Madden.
Take a look at the video. The video was shot by TheMaddenLab.com’s very own PhillyFan. Big thanks for getting this to me so quickly.
