EA Sports has annouced that legendary annoucer and fan favorite, not to mention creator of the most popular video game ever, has been left out of his own game! John Madden won’t be annoucing the games this year for Madden 2009, as a matter of fact, the only thing Madden has to do with this years game is the fact its still his name.

EA Annouced that they’ve listened to the fans regarding the issue and have some exciting up coming changes to the Madden 2009 annoucer team. And frankly its about time, Marshall Faulk just wasn’t doing it for me.

Wonder what they have planned though for Madden 2009 that is so great? Maybe its some hottie side line reporters? But maybe not, just as long as it’s not Bryant Gumble I think we can all go a year without hearing “BOOM that guy looks like he got hit by a frieght train!”
